The artist used to pipes on the side of a building and placed to shoes at the bottom to give the appearance of two legs.

Artist Statement
I made a linoleum print using paint. I made it by first sketching a picture of myself and then sketching that onto a piece of linoleum. After that I carved out the lines on the linoleum so that I had something similar to a stamp. I applied different compositions of paint and stamped the linoleum onto paper. I also tried using different materials to stamp my linoleum on but in this stamp it is just a simple black and white on a piece of paper. Overall, I was pleased with my work and I enjoyed creating it. I preferred the basic black and white prints rather than the color prints. I thought I probably could have done something more with the design in the background and I also could have added a few lines to the face. I really liked the linoleum print idea, it was something I had never done before and I was impressed with all the interesting things you could do with it.
